DDEESSCCRRIIPPTTIIOONN
ggrroohhttmmll translates the output of GNU ttrrooffff to html. Users
should always invoke ggrroohhttmmll via the groff command with a
--TThhttmmll option. If no files are given, ggrroohhttmmll will read
the standard input. A filename of -- will also cause ggrroo
hhttmmll to read the standard input. Html output is written
to the standard output. When ggrroohhttmmll is run by ggrrooffff
options can be passed to ggrroohhttmmll using ggrrooffff's --PP option.
OOPPTTIIOONNSS
--vv Displays the version.
--?? Emits a usage synopsis.
--ll Turns off the production of automatic section links
at the top of the document.
--rr Turns off the automatic header and footer line
(html rule).
--nn Generate simple heading anchors whenever a sec
tion/number heading is found. Without the option
the anchor value is the textual heading. This can
cause problems when a heading contains a `?' on
some brousers (netscape). This flag is automati
cally turned on if a heading contains an image.
--FF_d_i_r Prepend directory _d_i_r//ddeevv_n_a_m_e to the search path
for font and device description files; _n_a_m_e is the
name of the device, usually hhttmmll.
--ii_r_e_s_o_l_u_t_i_o_n
Select the resolution for all images. By default
this is 80 pixels per inch. Example: -i100 indi
cates 100 pixels per inch.
--II_s_t_e_m Determine the image stem name. If omitted grohtml
uses ggrroohhttmmll--_X_X_X (_X_X_X is the process ID).
--DD_d_i_r Inform ggrroohhttmmll to place all image files into direc
tory _d_i_r.
--vv Print the version number.
--?? Display usage.
UUSSAAGGEE
There are styles called RR, II, BB, and BBII mounted at font
positions 1 to 4.
DDEEPPEENNDDEENNCCIIEESS
ggrroohhttmmll is dependent upon the png utilities
(ppnnmmccuutt, ppnnmmttooppnngg) and GhostScript (ggss). Images are gen
erated whenever a table, picture, equation or line is
encountered.
BBUUGGSS
GGrroohhttmmll has been completely redesigned and rewritten. It
is still alpha code.
